Welcome to Barefoot Sailing Club (BFSC) on Lake Lanier, Georgia.


Founded in 1971 (55 years ago!), we originally focused on dinghy racing.  But, over the years have expanded much further.  Members enjoy racing on cruisers and racing boats, cruising around the lake and rafting up for social activities.

With tropical weather approaching the region, we are closely monitoring the forecast and its potential impact on this weekend’s Barefoot Open.
 

The safety of our racers, volunteers and guests remains our top priority.
 

RACING: The Race Committee is monitoring conditions and will communicate any necessary schedule changes.
 

SATURDAY NIGHT: Dinner, the Silent Auction and live music by Thunder Gypsy will continue as planned, regardless of the racing schedule.
