SAVE THE DATE - Saturday, May 17th Come race in the Joan Holcomb Memorial Women Skippers Regatta Saturday, May 17th!
Hosted by Barefoot Sailing Club and Lake Lanier Sailing Club, it's not to be missed.
After Joan's untimely passing in 2010, we decided the regatta should be named in her memory. In the decade following, her widow Dean Holcomb was a tremendous supporter of the regatta. After his unfortunate passing in 2020, his wife, Dee Rosenbaum, took the reins and continues to champion and generously support the event each year.
Join the fun and honor a wonderful sailor and friend.
There will be an awards/food/social event at the LLSC Clubhouse following the racing.
Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each category.
